About Metabolics Weight Loss Challenge

Metabolic Medical is having a 90-Day Challenge from June 1st - August 30th. This is a total of 13 weeks.

Rules: Every two weeks their is a weigh in at MMC of Murrells Inlet. Winner is for the greatest % of weight loss.

Competitors: Beth Shipp of Channel 15 (ABC), Lisa McLauglin of South Carolina Magazine, and T.J. Anzivina
of Next Media Radio.

We will be tracking their progress on this site as well as having them contribute to the message boards.

Here are the results from the first weigh in:

Beth lost 8lbs for a 5% decrease in body weight.
TJ lost 7.5 lbs for a 3% decrease in body weight.
Lisa lost 4 lbs for a 2% decrease in body weight.

Does MMC have any plans for another weight loss challenge??

The weight loss challange was such a great success in Murrells Inlet, we have made it part of a promotion to anyone who wants to challange a friend, family, or anyone who
would like to participate. Our web site has more information on how to participate. For current patients, you can bring a friend and they will get 1/2 off their first visit, and we
will give you half off yours. I'm not sure how the weigh in will work due to the person who has already been on the program. They are sort of at a loss because usually the first couple
of weeks our patients drop water weight and the drop is more significant. So it might be a little unfair. But if anyone wants to do a challange with friends, bring them in and we
will be happy to get them going. It will save you and them some $$$ and it will also help motivationally. I know this board really motivates our patients and we are very excited to
see all the activity going on. Keep up the good work.
